The first week of Face Scrubby Friday is the Windmill pattern. I wanted a scrubby that had a little texture to it, and using the Front Post Double Crochet stitch seemed like the way to go.
Materials:
G Hook (4mm)
Worsted Weight Cotton
Yarn #4 (like Lily Sugar and Cream yarn)Scissors
Needle for weaving in ends
Gauge:
Scrubby measures approximately 3 ½ inches.
I tend to crochet tightly, so check your gauge and adjust hook size accordingly.
Abbreviations (US terms):
CH - Chain
Sl St – Slip Stitch
DC – Double Crochet
FPDC – Front Post Double Crochet
RSC – Reverse Single Crochet (also known as Crab Stitch)
St(s) – Stitch(es)
RS – Right Side
WS – Wrong Side
Notes:
Repeat sections are notated with * *
Ch 3 counts as a DC
