Mason Jar Cozy - FREE Crochet Pattern

I like to use Mason jars for flowers and other home decorating. They're much easier to store than vases, but not the prettiest to look at. Enter the Mason Jar Cozy crochet pattern! No more boring jars for home decor! And adding a leather tag elevates it even more. Scroll down for the free pattern.




Materials:
Bernat Maker Yarn
I hook (5.5mm)

Special Stitches/Tutorials:
Magic Circle: Video Tutorial
Hdc3rdloop: Video Tutorial
X st: Sk 1 st, dc in the next st. Working in the front, dc in the skipped st. 

Instructions:

Make a magic circle

1. Sc 10 in magic circle. Pull closed, join with a sl st to work in the round.

2. Ch 1, 2 sc in ea st around. Join. (20 sts)

3. Ch 1, *2 sc in first st, sc in the next st* Repeat around. Join. (30 sts)

4. Ch 1, *2 sc in the first st, sc in next 4* Repeat around. Join. (36 sts)

5. Ch 1, sc blo around. Join. (36 sts)

6. Ch 1, hdc in each st around. Join.

7. Ch 1, hdc3rdloop in each st around . Join.

8. Ch 1, X st in the first 2 sts. *X st in the next 2 sts* Repeat around. Join

Repeat rounds 6-8 two more times.

15. Ch 1, hdc in each st around. Join.

16. Ch 1, sc3rdloop in ea st around. Join.

Cut yarn and weave in ends. Sew on tag if desired. (I got mine from Idaho Taylor Made on Etsy)
