Cut yarn, leaving long tail. Repeat above instructions until you have 4 squares.

Use your favorite joining method to join the granny squares to make a tube. I sewed mine together with a whip stitch through the back loops.

Joining to wood base

Insert hook into one of the holes in the wood base, and draw up your working yarn.

Ch 1, sc through the wood base AND the bottom of the granny square tube.

You will make 2 sc into each hole of the wood base, but only 1 sc into ea st and ch sp around the granny square tube. (This video might be helpful for this part)

Top of basket

Join yarn to top of basket.

1. Ch 1, sc in ea st and ch space around. Join

2. Ch 1, sc in ea st around. Join.

3. Ch 1, crab stitch in ea st around. Join.

Weave in ends.

I cut some strands of faux leather straps and used rivets to attach them to the basket.
