Flower Face Scrubby - Free Crochet Pattern

It is the fourth and final week of Face Scrubby Friday! I have so enjoyed sharing these patterns with you and seeing your scrubbies! This final pattern is actually the first one I made. It uses puff stitches and shell stitches. My 4 year old daughter immediately claimed the pink and purple ones. She doesn't actually use them, but she hoards them with the rest of her little treasures like the little dragon that she is.

Materials:
G Hook (4mm)
Worsted Weight Cotton Yarn #4 (like Lily Sugar and Cream)
Scissors
Needle for weaving in ends

Gauge:
Scrubby measures approximately 3 ¼ inches.
I tend to crochet tightly, so check your gauge and adjust hook size accordingly.

Abbreviations (US terms):
CH – Chain
CH SP – Chain Space
Sl St – Slip Stitch
DC – Double Crochet
Puff St – Puff Stitch
Sk – Skip
St(s) – Stitch(es)
RS – Right Side
WS – Wrong Side

Special Stitches:
Puff Stitch:
Yarn over, insert hook and draw up a loop (3 loops on hook)
Yarn over, insert hook and draw up a loop (5 loops on hook)
Yarn over, insert hook and draw up a loop (7 loops on hook)
Yarn over, and draw through all 7 loops on hook.

Notes:
Repeat sections are notated with *  *
Ch 3 counts as a DC
