Flower Face Scrubby - Free Crochet Pattern

It is the fourth and final week of Face Scrubby Friday! I have so enjoyed sharing these patterns with you and seeing your scrubbies! This final pattern is actually the first one I made. It uses puff stitches and shell stitches. My 4 year old daughter immediately claimed the pink and purple ones. G Hook (4mm)

Scissors
Needle for weaving in ends

Scrubby measures approximately 3 ¼ inches.
I tend to crochet tightly, so check your gauge and adjust hook size accordingly.

Abbreviations (US terms):
CH – Chain
CH SP – Chain Space
Sl St – Slip Stitch
DC – Double Crochet
Puff St – Puff Stitch
Sk – Skip
St(s) – Stitch(es)
RS – Right Side

Eloise Earwarmer - Knitting Pattern

I had some small 50g skeins of yarn that I didn't know what to do with. I figured I had enough yardage for an earwarmer so I designed this Eloise Earwarmer pattern and it came out just like I wanted!
Here is some more info about the pattern:

Sizes:
Adult (You can easily adjust the length to fit larger or smaller as needed)

Materials:
Size 7 (4.5mm) US needles
Worsted Weight Yarn #4, or for a slightly wider/thicker version use Aran Weight
Cable Needle
Stitch Markers
Scissors
Needle for weaving in ends
Optional – Small length of scrap yarn for provisional cast on

Gauge:
Earwarmer measures approximately 3.25 inches wide.
I tend to knit tightly, so check your gauge and adjust needle size accordingly.

You can purchase the Eloise Earwarmer on my Ravelry shop here.

Windmill Face Scrubby - Free Crochet Pattern

I ran out of cotton pads to wash my face, and with a two month old baby, I rarely go out unless I have to. So since I didn't want to go to the store to replace them right away, I had to figure out something else. I had a stash of partially used skeins of cotton yarn so I decided to play around and make my own reusable ones. I came up with 4 face scrubby patterns that I will be sharing here on my blog every Friday, starting today, and the next 3 weeks. I am calling it Face Scrubby Friday!

The first week of Face Scrubby Friday is the Windmill pattern. I wanted a scrubby that had a little texture to it, and using the Front Post Double Crochet stitch seemed like the way to go.

Materials:
G Hook (4mm)
Worsted Weight Cotton Yarn #4 (like Lily Sugar and Cream yarn)
Scissors
Needle for weaving in ends

Gauge:
Scrubby measures approximately 3 ½ inches.
I tend to crochet tightly, so check your gauge and adjust hook size accordingly.

Abbreviations (US terms):
CH - Chain
Sl St – Slip Stitch
DC – Double Crochet
FPDC – Front Post Double Crochet
RSC – Reverse Single Crochet (also known as Crab Stitch)
St(s) – Stitch(es)
RS – Right Side
WS – Wrong Side

Notes:

Ch 3 counts as a DC

1. Ch 3 (counts as DC), DC 11 in ring. Pull ring tight to close. Sl st to top of ch 3 to join. (12 sts)

2. Ch 3 (counts as DC), FPDC around ch 3 from previous round. *DC in the top of the next st, FPDC around the SAME st.* Repeat around. Sl st to top of ch 3 to join. (24 sts)

4. Ch 1 (does NOT count as st), SC in same st. RSC around. Cut yarn and join to 1st SC.
